ZaidieB made a siyum on Maseches Bava Basra (Bavli) and Nazir (Yerushalmi) last Sunday.

It was well attended by family members, but we had two special guests. Mike Teiler and Yehuda Teiler.

Mike Teiler’s father (Arthur Teiler)’s mother (Fannie Teiler nee Hoppenstein)’s mother (Yocheved Hoppenstein nee Blumenstein) and my father (Eliyahu Berlin)’s mother (Pauline Berlin nee Pasternak)’s mother (Yetta Pasternak nee Blumenstein) were sisters; that makes him my third cousin.
